Bingo News: Bingo Network of the Year award given to Dragonfish

Not long ago there were some bingo winners revealed at the Online Bingo Summit and this week has seen more of the same with the EGaming Review ceremony. The event took place at London’s Old Billingsgate Centre and Steve Cram the Olympic silver medallist was giving out the awards.

Bingo Supplier of the Year went to Playtech for their Virtue Fusion product which is the top brand in the online bingo industry today. They beat off competition from Parlay Entertainment, Dragonfish and NYX Interactive to achieve this title. Playtech has only recently been awarded Best Online Bingo Innovation and Best Online Bingo Software at the Online Bingo Summit.

The CEO of Playtech, Mor Weizer had this to say: “The EGR Awards are a prestigious new event in the industry’s calendar, so we are delighted Playtech have been recognised here with three separate awards. It really shows the strength of our products across the group. Being named Bingo Supplier of the Year is a fantastic endorsement and it is extremely satisfying as it comes straight after our double success at the Online Bingo Summit.”

Dragonfish picked up Bingo Network of the Year beating Microgaming and Fusion Network. Dragonfish then went on to scoop the White Label Partner of the Year award. Neogames who power Prime Scratchcards were highly commended in the category of Software Rising Star of the Year.

NYX Interactive took the Innovation in Bingo award beating Alvin5, Playtech and Cozy Games. G2 Gtech who owns St Minver didn’t receive any nominations for any of the bingo awards although they did receive an award for the Lottery Software Provider of the Year which should be some consolation.
