Broadway Gaming due to Acquire 888 Dragonfish Bingo

    It’s been published this week 888 Holdings are to sell off its Dragonfish Bingo business to Broadway Gaming’s Saphalata Holding Limited for the sum of $50m, as 888 are to focus fundamentally on its US operations.

    The deal will see 888’s Dragonfish B2B and various B2C operators integrate with Broadway Gaming. The integration includes assets, clientele, technology, and consumer-facing brands.

    Enhance Existing Verticals

    The takeover is expected to be finalised during the second quarter of 2020, subject to the new owner acquiring a United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC) license, as many of the Dragonfish network brands are UK-facing.

    888 made the decision to sell off its bingo business to concentrate on the growth of its core business structures including casino, sports, and poker. The move will further enhance these verticals, as 888 continue their mission to become the world’s leading online betting and gaming business.
