Mårten Forste appointed as COO of LeoVegas
Mårten Forste is to take over the position of Chief Operating Officer with online gambling operator LeoVegas. Mårten who is presently chairman of the board, will take over his new role on 3rd of February and will be responsible for operations at the Malta based office.
Richard Woodbridge who is the present Chief Operating Officerof the company has already accepted the offer of a job in another industry, he will leave his position at the end May.
Mårten who has been a board member since 2012, and has been chairman of the board for the past 3 years, will remain in this position until a new chairman is nominated by the commitee in May at the Annual General meeting.
Mårten has gained 12 years of experience in the iGaming industry with a number of operational roles under his belt which included Chief Operating Officer at Match Group, which includes the brands Meetic, Tinder and Match.
It was only at the beginning of the month that LeoVegas announced that they were withdrawing their Royal Panda brand from the UK market from the 31st of January, giving their customers time to withdraw any funds in their account.
