We all love reading about celebrities, from their lavish weddings, seeing photos of their extravagant homes, to their impeccable (and sometimes questionable) fashion choices. But one thing we love most is following celebrities during their pregnancy and parenthood.
With Mother’s Day fast approaching, we’ve conducted a poll to find out who the nation’s favourite celebrity mum is. Over 1500 people across the UK took part and we have a list of the top responses below.

Kate Middleton takes the top spot with a whopping 327 votes. It’s not hard to see why she came out on top, we’ve been keen followers of Kate’s pregnancy and motherhood since 2012.
The Duchess’s first pregnancy was announced in December 2012, and from that time onwards the media couldn’t get enough. The speculation over her first child’s name became popular news with people even going so far as to place bets on what the child was going to be called. On 22 July 2013 Kate gave birth to a healthy boy (weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces) and two days later the world was put out of their misery when it was announced that the baby was called George Alexander Louis.
Kate is back in the public spotlight as it was announced in September 2014 that she is expecting her second child. There’s not long now until we are all introduced to the next member of the royal family as the baby is due to be born this April!
Holly Willoughby came in at second place with 233 votes. Holly is not only one of our favourite television presenters, she’s also one of the nation’s favourite celebrity mothers. Holly is mother to Harry James Baldwin who was born in May 2009, Belle Baldwin who was born in in April 2011, and Chester William Baldwin who was born in September 2014.
In third place we have another member of the royal family. Queen Elizabeth II received 180 votes and puts her in the nation’s top 3 celebrity mothers. She is considered by many to be the mother of our nation. Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary) gave birth to her first child Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, was born in November 1948, a year after she married Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Her second child Princess Anne, Princess Royal, was born in August 1950, her third child Prince Andrew, Duke of York, was born in February 1960, and her fourth child Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, was born in March 1964.
