XFM Announces Comic Relief Bingo

The Radio station tweeted their special Comic Relief bingo card today. It includes some staples of the Red Nose Day, the things that happen year on year: children raising a substantial sum only to have some big name brand steal all their thunder by donating hundreds of thousands; z-list celebrities trying in vain to resurrect their careers by doing something saucy like snogging; and some sort of Take That appearance! The only issue with it? Well, bingo cards should really have 25 squares not 9. C’mon guys! But I suppose we’ll let you off as it’s for a good cause! Twitter users were quick to make jokes about absurd things they would or wouldn’t do to raise money.

When is Comic Relief 2015? It’s today…so see if you can do anything to raise money or donate during the live show tonight. It’s probably a bit late now but the 2015 red noses are looking pretty good, almost reminding us of little red minions, so get a hold of one if you can.

Don’t know what to expect from this year’s event, well last year’s event went something like this…

“Our crack team of celebrity Fun Raisers challenged the British public to do something funny for money. Meanwhile, celebrity friends Melanie C, Jack Dee, Chelsee Healey, Phillips Idowu, Greg James and Dara O Briain rowed the mighty Zambezi, raising £1.1 million. Back on dry land, Miranda Hart had a very Mad March and raised another £1.1 million. One Direction’s official single, ‘One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)’ hit number one in an unprecedented 63 countries.

The star-studded night of TV saw the public treated to Call the Midwife, Simon Cowell’s wedding and the return of two comedy legends, David Brent and the Vicar of Dibley. All that raised the astounding total of £100,331,808!”
